"Had carnitas (pork) tacos, green chili tamales and sweet potato atole."
5 It's a small open air market that sells food and has several different stalls that you can sit at and eat. The food was cheap and good, although it seems the food just sits out in the open all day. I did not get sick eating there.
5 Great place with delicious local food. Don't miss it!
5 Crazy place - as soon as you walk in everything starts calling you to go with them. Yelling their menus. We ate there once . Huge portions. The lady did forget one of my orders but I was so full I didn’t remind her of the other order. And the carnitas omg best of the best. I’ve had carnitas de Michoacán here in Cali but nothing compare to carnitas de ( real ) Michoacán .
5 Place is lit.. anything you'd like to eat. Anything! Drinks, food, desserts. It's a huge market place. You'll see people fighting for your business. You can easily eat with 5$ full course meal
5 Dona Rosa and her staff have the best Tamales 100% must visit and try one of everything ! They're all friendly and provide the best Tamales and Atole. Making this a tradition to always visit when in the area
5 Atole & tamales Doña Rosita is a MUST. My go to is the atole negro & the tamal de arina. Im definitely going to go back and try the rest of the options.
5 This is a unique place to get tamales de arina or at least that's what we called them is on the corner to the left side they have the best tamales and delicious atole. Very nice people
5 Lots of options & vendors. Really delicious food, just make sure you ask about the prices before ordering. We got overcharged. Had carnitas (pork) tacos, green chili tamales and sweet potato atole. Green salsa is delicious.
You can enjoy a variety of authentic Mexican dishes, including famous carnitas, tamales, and local specialties served in generous portions.
It’s great for either a quick bite or a casual sit-down meal in a lively open-air market setting with table service.
Yes, the place is casual, kid-friendly, and spacious enough to accommodate groups comfortably.
They offer outdoor seating with wheelchair-accessible entrances and seating areas for a comfortable visit.
Mercado de Antojitos is a cash-only establishment, so be sure to bring cash with you.
As a lively market, it can get busy during meal times, but visiting earlier or later might give you a quieter experience.
